AOD elects new Leadership Board

Architects of Diversity has elected our new Leadership Board for the term 2025-2027. After an extensive public search and nomination process, we are excited to announce our Board with new and returning members. As a non-profit organisation, AOD's Board acts as the highest governance body overseeing the overall strategy and accountability processes. Nabila Hussain, Chair Currently leading Southeast Asia Public Policy at Cloudflare, Nabila engages closely with industry associations, civil society, regulators, and governments to shape fit-for-purpose digital regulations that advance security, reliability, and inclusivity in the technology ecosystem.


In her previous roles, she worked on legal and government affairs for Microsoft across Southeast Asia, and Micron Technology (Malaysia). She also worked at the Social & Economic Research Initiative (SERI), collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive evidence-based policymaking at the intersection of technology and society. Her professional experience includes multilateral collaborations, partnering with the World Bank, APEC, and ASEAN, to design and implement policy recommendations that accelerate the transition from analog to digital governance models. Nabila holds a Law degree from SOAS, University of London, and a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property and Information Law (LLM) from King’s College London.

Nevyn Vinosh, Deputy Chair Nevyn Vinosh is a lawyer at Lim Wei Jiet Advocates & Solicitors. A graduate of Universiti Malaya, his practice now primarily centres on dispute resolution in commercial, employment and public law. A firm advocate for equal access to justice, he has represented civil society organisations and the Malaysian Bar in various public interest matters. Nevyn serves on the Bar Council's Strategic Litigation Committee and also as a moot advocacy coach at his alma mater.

Joseph Lee, Treasurer Joseph is currently the Director of Finance and Operations at Bintang Capital Partners, a Malaysia-based impact investment firm. He is deeply committed to youth development and is passionate about preserving Malaysia’s rich, inclusive cultural heritage for future generations.


Joseph began his career in the Assurance practice at PwC, where he gained a strong foundation in financial and regulatory frameworks. He later played a key role in driving growth at a boutique fund management company, broadening his expertise in investment and operations.


He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) as well as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Jurleo Jurit, Secretary Jurleo is a supply chain professional with experiences in conventional oil & gas, digital innovation, and most recently convenience retail serving for a leading energy company. Outside of work, he commits his time exploring topics on race relations, diversity and East Malaysian affairs. Jurleo is a founding member of AOD and has previously served as the organisation’s Treasurer. He holds a degree in Political Science from King’s College London and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Shaik Irfan, Deputy Secretary Shaik Irfan is a dedicated professional with a background in government relations, policy advocacy, and community engagement, currently serving as a Government Relations Executive at EUROCHAM Malaysia. He is strongly passionate in building a truly inclusive Malaysia and help shape more youth as changemakers. He previously served as Programme Associate at INITIATE.MY and UNIRAZAK Student Representative Council and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Governance & Public Policy (Hons.).

YM Tengku Nur Qistina Tengku Nur Qistina is an independent researcher with an interest in nation-building, history, women, peace and security and gender advocacy. She is passionate about unity, youth engagement and developing a healthy civil society for Malaysia. She has previously worked in research institutes, think tanks, management consultancy and international development and has published on various platforms, and speaks on her research interest through various media platforms. She holds a MA in National Security Studies from King’s College, London.

Aida Azmi Aida is the Joint Managing Director & Partner at PEMANDU Associates, a multi-sector strategic advisory firm specializing in public and private sector transformation in more than 30 countries to date. Prior to PEMANDU Associates, she previously served local and global firms such as PwC South East Asia, EY Middle East, Arthur D. Little Middle East, United Nations Development Programme and Teach For Malaysia. She is passionate on the development sector, particularly in influencing national-level reforms on social equity and youth empowerment. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
