Empowering Unity Leaders: Workshop with JPNIN state officers and SRN leaders

On 21–22 May 2025, Architects of Diversity collaborated with Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional (JPNIN) to conduct a two-day capacity building workshop for JPNIN State Officers, Sekretariat Rukun Negara (SRN) advisors, and student leaders from across Malaysia.

The workshop served as a crucial step in preparing participants to implement Citra Negaraku - a national initiative designed to foster inclusive dialogue and collaborative action among university students. At its core, Citra Negaraku aims to create meaningful spaces for young people to explore, understand, and co-create solutions around national unity and cohesion.

Over the course of the two days, AOD led interactive sessions focused on dialogue principles, empathy mapping, and participatory facilitation methods. These modules equipped participants with tools not only to hold space for challenging conversations, but also to ensure those conversations lead to trust, understanding, and collaborative action on campus.

Beyond the workshop, AOD remains committed to supporting SRNs in their unity-building efforts. As part of an ongoing collaboration, AOD will provide ad-hoc mentorship and resource connections to help strengthen local implementation of Citra Negaraku initiatives.
